For paperbacks and hardbacks, you will need to take into account the cost of printing the book. A fifty page screenplay will cost a lot less to print than a one-thousand page novel. You will receive your book price minus the print production cost and Amazon's commission. As a general guide, most authors earn approximately half of the book's total price.
